Corporate Affairs
This Department provides support services to Council Management and also organises and services all meetings of the Council and its sub-committees.Other services include Register of Electors, Higher Education Grants and Freedom of Information.
Environment
Cashel Town Council continues to protect and improve the living and working environment of the town of Cashel and to ensure that the activities of the Town Council are carried out in an environmentally friendly manner. Our aim is to eliminate litter, promote recycling, participate in effective waste management issues and enforce pollution control.
Finance
The finance Department is responsible for the overall control of the Finances of Cashel Town Council.
Housing
The Housing Department continues to use the various accommodation options to the maximum extent possible in order to ensure that the increased demands for accommodation are met.
Human Resources
The main objective of the Human Resources Section is to ensure that the Town Council has the necessary human resources to fulfil its duties in an effective and efficient manner and to ensure that each employee can reach their maximum potential. This involves recruitment of staff within the approved limits laid down by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and providing relevant on-going training as required.
Water Services
The Water Services Department provides and maintains the Public Sewerage and Water Supply Infrastructure. We also have responsibility for improvements to burial grounds. Water Services provide support to the Planning Department of Cashel Town Council along with consultation to the public on planning issues relating to Water and Sewerage services.
