Litter
Litter is a problem in all towns. The solution is education and practical application. Each year Cashel gets involved in the Annual Springclean and black spot areas are tackled.
Cashel Town Council employes two part-time litter wardens. The Wardens enforce the provisions of the Litter Pollution Act 1997. Litter Wardens patrol the Town and residential areas.
If you are caught littering in Cashel Town you will receive a €150 on-the-spot fine. Ongoing Work
Playground
The playground at Friar Street was provided with playing equipment some years ago. This facility has now been approved to upgrade this playground with additional equipment and provide additional play areas and ? This work will be carried out this year.
