Demands for water charges issue in February/March of each year. Payment should be made by the due date shown on the demand. Click more for a full current table of charges.
Water Conservation
We recognise that too much of the water we pump, treat and distribute each year is lost by leakage. To improve this, a major Water Conservation Project is being undertaken, with the aim to reduce the current unacceptable high level of water loss. The project includes the metering of all non-domestic supplies.
Water Quality
Water Quality is divided between two different departments in the council.
Water Metering
We have completed the process of delivering a water metering programme for all of our non domestic (business) as part of the Government's Water Services Pricing Policy. Progress will continue as new non-domestic come on stream.
